How does ‘The Ultimate Sprintcar Championship’ work?

There are five USC championships, four state based championships and one overarching USC Championship.

  • Sydney Speedway will run 22 rounds which will count towards the USC NSW Championship.
  • (e.g. September to April). *
  • Toowoomba Speedway will run eight events which will count towards the USC QLD Championship. (e.g. September to April). **
  • Murry Bridge Speedway will run eight events which count towards the USC SA Championship.
  • (e.g. September to April). **
  • Premier Speedway will run ten events which count towards the USC VIC Championship.
  • (e.g. September to April). ***


    * This season Sydney Speedway will allow competitors to drop 2 rounds (being their worst two rounds or two rounds they did not compete in) prior to the start of the Chase for the Championship (March 11) from their USC NSW point score.
    ** This season Toowoomba and Murray Bridge Speedway’s will allow competitors to drop 1 round (being their worst round or a round they did not compete in) prior to the start of the Chase for the Championship (March 11) from their USC QLD and USC SA point score respectively.
    *** This season Premier Speedway will allow competitors to drop 1 round (being their worst round or a round they did not compete in) up until and including March 25 from their USC Vic point score.

    How do I qualify for the Ultimate Sprintcar Chase for the Championship?

  • To qualify for the Ultimate Sprintcar Chase for the Championship you must make a podium at one of the qualifying races at any USC member track through the dates September 24 to March 4.
  • All qualifiers for the Chase for the USC Championship start with Zero points in the ‘Chase’.
  • Once the USC Championship Chase begins each chase round will be awarded points as per the USC Points system.
